Now this here is a real scam

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This is a well known scam that was invented about 4 or 5 years ago. This is part of a bigger series of scams used by nigerian, chinese, russian or romanian people. They consist in selling stuff on eBay or on other online markets. This is how it works: a person (the scammer) is selling let’s say a car on eBay - great car, low price (everyone will bid on it). The person who won the bid will be asked to pay up front a large amount of money - if the car is worth $10.000 they will ask you to pay about $3000. They will say this money is for shipping and stuff but you will never get your car or hear from them again. They also pretend to sell popular gadgets like iPod, PS3, XboX and stuff - really low prices - like $100 for a PS3 - but you’ll have to buy at least 10pcs. They will even give you a shipping ID with Fedex, TNT or DHL. But the only thing you’ll receive is (maybe) a pack of cigarettes.

Now today a got an email from William Roush. You can tell this is a scam just by reading the first line. Here is the full email - we will comment on this.

Sgt. William Roush
wiroush62@hotmail.com

Hello Dear,

How are you doing, I hope great? My regards to you and your family. I write to you irrespective of the fact you do not know me, but please do consider this letter as a request from a brother in dire need of assistance. My name is William J Roush (Sgt) a British Soldier; I am serving in the military of the 1st Armored
Division here in Iraq working with the Americans. As you know we are being attacked by insurgents everyday and car bombs, it came worst since Saddam Hussein was executed. During one of our rescue Mission we came across a safe that contains the total sum of $21,000,000 (Twenty one Million Us Dollars)
that belongs to the revolutionaries, which I believe they use in buying weapons and ammunitions, and it was agreed by all party present that the money will be shared amongst us. Out of the total fund my share was $6,000,000 (Six Million US Dollars).

I am seeking your assistance to evacuate my share of the money, which is $6,000,000 out of here to you; in as much as you can assure me that my own share will be safe in your care until I complete my service here. This is no stolen money, and there are no dangers involved, as I have made arrangements with a UN representative who promised to deliver the fund to any of my choosing destination. I shall be compensating you with Two Million Dollars on final conclusion of this project, while the rest shall be for me for my investment purposes.

One passionate appeal I will make to you is not to discuss this matter with a third party, should you have reasons to reject this offer, please destroy this e-mail as any leakage of this information will be too bad for me. I do not know for how long we will remain here, and I have survived two suicide bomb attacks, which prompted me to reach out for help because I will be migrating to you to invest and start a new life not as a soldier anymore. Please if this Proposal is acceptable by you; kindly send me an e-mail signifying your interest including your most confidential telephone numbers for quick communication also your home address where the fund would be delivered. As soon as I receive your email with the information, I will furnish you with full details on when and how the fund would be delivered to you by UN Diplomat, and he will make a contact with you before as soon as he is ready for delivery. Waiting for your urgent reply.

Best regards,
Sgt. William J Roush.

Now for a some quick remarks.

3) we are being attacked by insurgents everyday and car bombs, - empathy, compassion, trying to make you feel he is your friend and he is in trouble

4) we came across a safe that contains the total sum of $21,000,000 … Out of the total fund my share was $6,000,000 - biig money to get me interested in reading further.

5) I am seeking your assistance to evacuate my share of the money - If i help him maybe i will get a share of that $6,000,000

6) please destroy this e-mail as any leakage of this information will be too bad for me - don’t let others know, this is a SECRET (here he said the magic word that gets a lot of attention)

7) I will furnish you with full details on when and how the fund would be delivered to you - Delivered? I will have $6,000,000? Awesome.

Now what happens next?!

Well after sending him the confirmation email he will give me some false ID and will either tell me to give him my account number (or credit card number)for him to deposit the whole $6,000,000 or tell me to meet with a person (this guys work in groups) who knows the account number where the $6,000,000 are deposited and to tell that person my account number (or CC number) so he can transfer the money in my account.

Give my account number or CC number??? This guys are going to buy stuff online with my money after the know my account number or they are going to clone a credit card and withdraw my money from an ATM.

Watch out for scammers. Report them. And if you are not sure, JUST ASK.

Make $3000/day- uncovered

In one of my previous posts i have discussed about some money making programs that clam they can make $3000/day or /week (anyway, lots of money) by doing nothing. Some people actually think that a retired beach bum can make money using a funnel. Now that’s just bull.

Today we are going to talk about the junktion money making program. Yey yes you’ve heard about it. Maybe some of you even checked out their site. This one is special. Why is it so special you may ask?

It is so special because it uses a in your face approach. It’s all right there in plain sight. You don’t even need to sign up to know what it’s all about. Of course this is the same affiliate marketing applied in a different way. Instead of selling crappy ebooks and and other unhelpful things they sell WEB HOSTING. And they sell it big. If you take a closer look you can see that they offer a $75 hosting package for free; well actually not for free, you have to pay for the web hosting and they will pay you back. You might think that this is the scam. But it’s not. The will actually pay you back the whole $75. Now that’s a good deal. But wait…

These guys are smart, really smart. Why? Because they sell a $75 hosting package and they get $100 for it. Here is why. This is the web hosting service they are offering money back for. As you can se their referral program gives the referrer $100 for each person who clicks on the link and signs up for any hosting program they offer. And take a look at the bottom of the page: for power players… This means that for a large amount of referrals you get higher payouts. This means the junktion gets somewhere between $125-$150 per referral. So in the best case they get $150-$75(that they pay you back)=$75. $75 for nothing. And even more they get some 10% of what you bring. So basically, for you to make money with this program, you have to refer other to this program (this being the main focus of the program, they also have some crappy ebooks to promote).

Now… Why this program?!?!?

Well the good thing is it creates trust (in a certain way) because you think: a) if they don’t pay you back you still remain with something - a good web host and b) even if they pay you back you get free web hosting. So even if the money making program doesn’t work you still get something. That is a good way to create trust.

Now the bad thing is, for this program to work there must be a huge demand of web hosting. And right now there is a huge and variated offer of web hosting - you have hosting that for $2.95/year give you 600Gb of space, 6000GB of traffic, a free domain and the possibility to host unlimited sites. Now because of these great offers people that use a web hosting provider will stick to it because there is no need for more space/bandwidth/etc…

So my advice, if you want to do affiliate marketing for less pick your own hosting service (click here if you want to pay $35 per year and get all the features) and if you don’t want to pay for it at all, all you have to do is create an affiliate account with them a sign up from your own link. This way you pay $35 and you get back $100. Now that’s a deal.

That being said, i await your suggestions and comments on this topic. And remember, if you think you know a money making program that works or you want to know more about a certain program, all you have to do is get in touch with me. Now it think that’s enough for today. I is tired.i-is-tired-wurk-too-hard.jpg

PS: If the funnel guy is making so much money, why is he so cheap with the advertising of his program (he pays around $0.04 CPC) ? You figure this out yourself.

No such thing as free money

After one of my previous posts i got tons of emails from people who said they have money making programs that work. Most of them never sent me real information, just a link to their sites or a few words on how they can help me make loads of money. LOOOOL. There are 2 reasons for this: 1) they don’t really have a program that can make money or 2) they might have such a program but they are not willing to give us more info about it (not the complete details, just something to let us know it’s working). But i think there is a problem with #2. If they have a money making programs that works, why are they trying to sell it for $40 instead of using it and making $3000 each day? So that makes #2 invalid, which means nobody has a money making program that works and is free (or at least cheap).

For god’s sake, how low must your IQ be for you to believe that paying $40 for something can help you make $3000/day just by sitting on your back.

On the other hand, some people(3) sent me some programs that actually were free. But as the title says, there is no such thing as free money. You’ll ask what are these programs all about? Well… they’re about… nothing. Basically the free money making programs (which you have to subscribe to and receive some weekly emails) are some links to other money making programs (payed ones this time). So, as i earlier said, this is just a form of affiliate marketing, nothing real here.

Conclusion: still waiting for an automated money making program that works. Till now it’s all just affiliate marketing for which you have to pay (while normal affiliate programs are free).

If there are letters or even words missing from this post, i apologize, i had a long day but i really had to write this article today.

How stupid do they think we are???

I am writing this post because i got sick and tired of viewing different ads about how you can make $3000/day and even a beach bum can do it. This is made for stupid people only. I am glad i did not fall for this but i am writing this so that other people won’t do such a mistake.

It all began when i saw the first ad of this kind. I said something like turn your computer into an ATM. Bullshit. No experience required. Bullshit.

The big surprise came when i got my hands on a program like this (ebooks and stuff). The ad said you could make like $50.000/month without even moving a finger. I said hey, this is worth checking. On the site i found nothing. It was only bullshit about how you can achieve financial independence, how you can make loads of money and you can sit on a beach in Bahamas and the money keep rolling in, testimonials saying how (name here) helped them become rich and we should try his method, some guy saying how he bought the car he always dreamed of and how now he lives in a castle on a mountain by the sea, bla bla and bla.

And finally the creator of this magnificent money making product tells you that he is so kind and he wants to share his money making secret with you. The whole package is worth like $10.000 but he is willing to give it to you for the microscopical sum of $40. You are getting $10.000 worth of product for only $40. Wow. Now this is the best deal ever. But you must hurry, there are only 14 left. HURRY. PAY RIGHT NOW.

Quick analysis:

You found a method to create gold from crap and you are willing to share it with others. WRONG. You have this thing that costs $10.000 and you are willing to give it away for only $40. WRONG. Even a beach bum can do it? WRONG. That is 3 times wrong. How stupid do they think we are???

And now for the grand finale… I somehow happened to get my my hands on 2 such programs (a person i know - stupid - paid around $50 to get this useless stuff).

To be honest i was expecting a smarter thing. But no. All you get for $50 is a website template and you use it to sell the bogus product you just bought. That is worth 50$. And considering you can get free web templates i thing the package is worth $0.

So basically most of these programs are almost scams. I said almost scams because you still get something for your money. But it’s like paying $500 for an old ‘90 computer.

There are critics that could say you also get info on how to sell the product. Yes you do get that kind of info, but you could get it for free if you are willing to search the web a little. There are lots of sites(this one in future posts), forums and free ebooks on how to do internet marketing. That is like paying $50 for a news article you can read on Yahoo News.

That is why we see more and more ads for money making programs with weird names that contain words like funneling and intericular and they are(most of them) the same thing. Buying a product and selling it. Most people call this affiliate marketing. But some of the ?smart? people call this making $3000/day. You tell me who is right.

Earlier i said most of them when talking about this kind of programs. This is because i only seen 2 such programs and i know certain stuff about 6 others. But if you know about such a program that is really smart(and really works) you can contact me. I am very anxious to find such a money making program although i don’t believe it exists (affiliate marketing is not turning you computer into an ATM unless you got some strong marketing knowledge) but i’m not willing to pay $50 for an affiliate program when i can get one for free.

That’s all. Thanks for reading and i hope you learned something from this.
